Cambridgeshire Homecare has been registered and inspected regularly by CQC since the business opened in 2002. Owing to a recent restructure, we changed our registration details with the CQC but previous reports are still available to view.

If you would like to see previous inspection reports, visit the CQC website and search for FPS (Peterborough) Ltd – Cambridgeshire Homecare. Alternatively type in the post code, PE6 7TA, into the search bar on the CQC website, and this will take you to the new registration details and archived reports.

We believe that consistency of care works best for both client and carer as both parties get to know one another and their routines. However it is never possible to rely on a single carer but we will seek to keep the number of carers visiting a client to the minimum.

We would never guarantee something that we cannot directly control and the nature of homecare means that there are many variables (e.g.: traffic, unexpected event at a previous client) that can impact upon a carers ability to arrive at an address at a precise time. We therefore ask our clients to allow +/- 15 minutes against the advised visit time, and we will call if there is likely to be a greater variance than this.

We pride ourselves on providing the very best quality of care in the area and always seek to accommodate our Service Users requirements. Our focus is therefore on providing an individual service tailored to our clients which they appreciate and value and that we are proud to deliver. We understand that regular communications are key to this process and will call to notify you if there are any amendments.

Ideally at least 48 hours but we know this isn’t always possible. It is sometimes possible to commence a service on the same day you contact us.

There’s really no such thing as a typical care package because each one is specifically tailored to meet the needs of the individual client. Please contact us for a quote.

We provide services ranging from simple “pop ins”, to sitting services and 24 hour care if required.

Our staff are trained to deliver a wide range of tasks, including: dementia care; end of life care; supporting people with complex needs; social and respite care.

Our Peterborough office concentrates on the greater Peterborough area. We also operate services in North Cambridgeshire, (Wisbech and surrounding areas), and East Cambridgeshire, (Sohm, Fordham, Burwell and associated localities).

Depending on the care service required, we may be able to offer services in other areas including: South Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Norfolk.

We have a sister company, Suffolk Homecare, who have a registered office in Bury St Edmunds, and cover the West Suffolk and Norfolk border too.

We operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Domiciliary care starts at 7am and continues through the day to around 10pm in the evening.

The Supported Living team offer 24 hour care services, including waking and sleeping night support. Please call to discuss your individual needs.
